MikroTik Hotspot with Vouchers & RADIUS (RouterOS 6.49+ / 7) – Setup Guide
Add the router
Hotspots → Add router → Brand: MikroTik, then Setup script.
Choose the setup type
- Router already has a hotspot - the script switches that hotspot to your RADIUS servers.
- Create a new hotspot - enter the interface (e.g.
bridge-guest) and network (e.g.10.10.0.1/22); the script creates IP, pool, DHCP, DNS, the hotspot and NAT.
Apply
- Winbox → New Terminal → paste the script. Or download the .rsc file, upload it in Files and run
/import file-name=supernext-<identity>.rsc. - The script sets the router identity, adds the primary and secondary RADIUS servers, allows remote disconnect (UDP 3799), sets the walled garden, disables FastTrack (needed for accurate data counting) and downloads login.html into the right folder (
flash/hotspoton devices with flash storage). - If the router cannot reach the internet to download login.html, use Download login.html and upload it to the hotspot folder.
Check
/radius monitor [find comment="<Your company> Radius"] once
/ip hotspot active print
Common problems
- Splash page does not appear - login.html is not in the hotspot folder, or the portal address is not in the walled garden.
- "Unknown NAS" in Auth Log - the router identity was changed; run the script again.
- Usage stays at 0 - FastTrack is still enabled.
- Disconnect does not work - the router is behind NAT without a public IP; enter its public IP in Hotspots or accept that sessions end by timeout.
