OpenWrt / CoovaChilli Hotspot with RADIUS – Setup Guide

  1. Hotspots → Add router → Brand OpenWrt / CoovaChilli; set a UAM secret.
  2. In /etc/chilli/config: HS_RADIUS / HS_RADIUS2, HS_RADSECRET, HS_UAMSERVER, HS_UAMFORMAT (portal URL), HS_UAMSECRET (same value), HS_NASID and HS_UAMALLOW - exact values are in the setup guide.
  3. Restart chilli. WiFiNexa detects uamip / uamport / challenge and logs the guest in through Chilli.
