Getting started

One device per session and private Wi-Fi addresses

Every voucher, QR pass, purchase or free login is locked to the first device that uses it. Another phone is refused - even while the first phone is switched off - until an admin presses Release device (voucher details, Guest Check-in, or the phone icon in Guests).

Private / rotating Wi-Fi addresses

iPhones (iOS 18+) change their private address every 2 weeks on open networks; some Androids change it after 24 hours. WiFiNexa gives the phone's browser a secret device key at the first login. When the address changes, the same phone is recognised and reconnected automatically - up to 3 times a day (Settings → Site). Other phones never get that key.

Best practice: protect the guest Wi-Fi with a simple password (WPA2). iPhones then keep a fixed private address. The check-in QR joins the network with the password automatically.
